'Martyn Ford Vs Iranian Hulk' could make MMA debut by Polish organisation KSW

One is 2 metres tall and 143 kilograms, known as “the scariest man on the planet”. The other is 1.88 metres tall, weighs 177kg and calls himself the “Iranian Hulk”. And they could face off in an MMA  show fight next year according to multiple online reports.

Britain’s Martyn Ford once had aspirations of being a professional cricketer but turned to bodybuilding after an injury.

Ford has a formidable diet and once said he ate every hour, spending £250 on food each week.

One of his daily meals consisting of 20 egg whites and 300g of cottage cheese, it has been reported.

He can now leg press close to the weight of a Smart car.

He has seen his stock rise with film roles including 2018’s Final Score – think Die Hardset in a soccer stadium – alongside former WWE star Dave Bautista.

And now he’s turning his large hands to MMA, confirming last month he has signed with Polish organisation Konfrontacja Sztuk Walki (KSW).

“I’ve loved almost all forms of martial arts,” Ford said after signing. “To come in here and to have the opportunity to put what I practise into this environment and this cage is an exceptional opportunity for myself.

Sajad Gharibi has become a cult figure on Instagram, posting regular pictures of his gigantic frame to his 403,000 followers.

He’s an avid weightlifter and a volunteer solider who said in 2016 he wants to fight against ISIS, and reportedly has a grounding in wrestling, a sport Iran excels in.

Standing 6'2" tall(188cm), Gharibi, 27, weighs an incredible 28 stone(177kg) - which is mostly muscle.

He can lift more than 180kg, which is more than he weighs, and competes in the powerlifting category of competitions.

He's always posting his meals on Insta, and in the mornings he loves nothing better than chowing down on a full English breakfast - the breakfast of champions - which he washes down with an energy drink.

Gharib also eats plenty of fruit, fish, chicken and drinks plenty of milk during the day between workouts.

He's become an icon for people in Iran, regularly visiting children's hospitals to provide them with some much needed cheer.

A fight between these two behemoths would certainly fit the bill for KSW, which only puts on five or six shows a year.

“MMA is No 1 in all martial arts in Poland, it’s bigger than boxing right now, thanks to KSW. We are kind of pioneers in that business.” KSW chief executive Martin Lewandowski told.
