Trucker’s mini-me tattoo of a tiny man driving on his chest has gone viral

A Cumbrian trucker has got a bizarre tattoo inked on his chest which makes him look like a tiny man driving his own body with a steering wheel.

Father-of-one Kenny Ollerenshaw's unique inking has gone viral, when the trucker moves, the 'interactive' tattoo moves with him.

Mr. Ollerenshaw, who lives in Silloth, had his tattoo created at Immortal Art Studio in Cumbria.

It took four hours to finish and the first person he showed was his young son.

The 36-year-old said: 'He thought it was cool but I wasn't expecting it to go viral, it's all gone a bit mad and my son has told my mum that I'm famous.

'I keep looking at it in the mirror and thinking it's just crazy. You should see what happens when I tense my pecs.

'My family are all on board with it. The way I look at it is if people don't like it then they don't have to wear it.'

Mr. Ollerenshaw, who drives for Viv Lightfoot Haulage at Silloth said: 'The first three hours were okay but the last hour started to hurt. I think I was running out of adrenaline. You're supposed to fuel up on sugar before you have one done but all I'd eaten were a couple of burgers.'

Tattooist Richard Batey was the man behind the extraordinary design.

Mr. Batey, 43, who used to work in the car industry, said: 'It's the first of its kind in the world.

'I have a good mechanical understanding from working in the car industry.

'When Kenny came in he was up for having this done as a chest piece. The result is just the start. There's a long way to go.'

He added: 'It's what I'd call an interactive tattoo and it's more of a shocker than anything else.

'It's got the ability to make an entire room of people smile and laugh and get them talking.'
