'My dream has come true!' Disabled bride ties the knot after feared she'd never find love

Like all little girls, Jroonsi Simanta always dreamed of a big white wedding.

But for Jroonsi, from Yasothon, north-east Thailand, a severe bone disability from birth meant that her life would instead be one of poverty and deprivation.

Now the 37-year-old, whose disability has stunted her growth and means she cannot walk, has had the wedding of her dreams - with a man nearly 30 years her senior.

Jroonsi said: 'People looked down on me because I was different and some even said I would only look beautiful when I was in my coffin.'

But the blushing bride, whose nickname 'Sayphon' means raindrop, later met and fell in love with a man 30 years her elder, 64-year-old Bancha Sabuntham.

They lived as man and wife, but Bancha's job as a security guard did not produce enough income to make her wedding dreams a reality.

Then Jroonsi heard of the 'Salon Angel' - real name Mr Ritchaveephat - a beautician and make-up artist who, when not catering for wealthy clientele, donates his services to the poorer people on a free of charge basis.

Jroonsi contacted him and said: 'I just want to be a beautiful bride but I have no money'.

Mr Ritchaveephat immediately sprang into action and enlisted the support of a wedding company Anton Weddings and between them they provided the make-up and hairdressing as well as a venue, costumes and photo album.

As an added bonus, Mr Ritchaveephat even attended the wedding himself complete with ornate gown of his own.

Jroonsi summed up her big day by saying: 'My dream has come true!'
