Rich Kids of the Cartel: Mexico drug lord El Chapo's children show off wealth with Pet Lions,Cars and Guns

Mexican drugs lord Joaquin 'El Chapo' Guzman's pampered children have taken to Twitter to boast of their fabulous wealth and lavish lifestyles - all paid for by the proceeds of organised crime.

Outrageous images posted online by El Chapo's three sons and his daughter show off their gilded lives of fast cars, endless parties and wild animals kept as pets.

Guzman, 60, head of the all-powerful Sinaloa Cartel and worth an estimated $3billion (£2billion) is one of the world's richest - and most wanted - men after his dramatic Shawshank-style escape from New Mexico's maximum security Altiplano prison.

Since his audacious bid for freedom, El Chapo's eldest son Ivan Archivaldo Guzman has taunted the Mexican the bungling authorities who launched their biggest-ever manhunt with 25,000 federal agents looking for him.

In the days leading up to the dramatic escape, Ivan, who was managing his father's Twitter account while he was in jail, dropped a number of hints about his audacious escape plan as he told his 180,000 followers: 'Everything comes for he who is patient.'

He also warned El Chapo's enemies to watch out now that his dad was free and taunted cops looking for him - bragging: 'While the government is only just starting to look for the cow, my Dad's already coming home with the cheese.'

A self-confessed playboy, Ivan also likes nothing better than boasting about his gilded life of parties and violence on Twitter.

In one picture he posted a picture of his red Ferrari with an AK-47 rifle resting next to the gear stick.

In another the hooded narco's son - one of three boys belonging to El Chapo - crouches down in front of a silver Mercedes hugging a pet LION in the driveway.

The party-boy recently wrote: 'I distract myself with women, but always on top of business', along with a picture of himself boarding a private jet.

Despite all the glamour, Ivan nevertheless cited his father's humble background as justification for his enjoyment of the immense wealth that crime has brought to the Guzman tribe.

'I'M FROM THE RANCH', he tweeted recently after receiving insults over social media for his tasteless posts, one follower describing him as 'Ivan the Terrible'.

As much as he posts pictures, the acting boss is particularly vocal over Twitter, using it to affirm his authority over the Sinaloa cartel.

'I've got my hand on the wheel', he tells his followers, 'I can't give up the responsibility my father has given me and worked so hard for. The Guzman era continues to reign'

'I want to make it very clear, there's no successor to my father, not just anyone can fill these shoes. He is still giving orders.'

Jesus Alfredo Guzman, Ivan's only surviving full brother, also lives the good life at his father's expense.

Alfredo posted a picture of a bucket of iPhones next to a bottle of Smirnoff vodka on a night out, partying.

And in January Alfredo posted a picture of him flying a private jet with the caption: 'Ok plebs, I'm leaving you behind.'

El Chapo's middle son has posted a series of pictures of his collection of pet lion cubs - with one of the cub resting on the boot of his red Bentley.

Alfredo is the commander of a large armed faction of the cartel, and often posts pictures of his firearms and soldiers on the ground.

A recent upload showed the Sinaloa cartel gunmen better equipped than the Mexican army, a photo which Alfredo captioned with 'for those who want to step onto my turf, I give them my army'.

He also takes firearms into the cinema, a recent picture showing his 9mm personalised pistol alongside his popcorn, with the caption: 'I've got my toy with me in case anyone wants to make things exciting.'

Joaquin Guzman, the eldest child of El Chapo's second wife Griselda, describes himself as 'El Chino Anthrax' on his @comandante57_ feed.

He has posted pictures alongside Paris Hilton, describing the hotel heiress with the hashtag 'El Chino's babes'.

He has also uploaded a picture of a gold-plated, diamond-encrusted hand gun on Twitter.

He regularly posts pictures of his high-powered firearms, extravagant clubbing antics and his pet tiger, which he chains up in the back of his luxury 4x4.

But the extravagance isn't limited just to El Chapo's male heirs.

His daughter Alejandrina Gisselle is also very active on social media through her @GisselleGuzman Twitter account, where she appears to support her father's criminal activities.

'I'm beautiful because of my mother', she told her 40,000 followers, 'intelligent because of my father, and a murderer because of me'.
