This is the shocking moment a pregnant woman fainted and fell in front of a Chinese subway train, which managed to stop inches before crushing her.
The woman was reportedly left with minor injuries after the front of the train passed over her, forcing her to crawl out from underneath.
The incident took place during morning rush hour when she fell on to the tracks at a subway station in Beijing.
The driver slammed on the emergency brakes, but witnesses began to fear the worst when the train appeared to pass over the woman.
However, she was able to crawl out from underneath the vehicle after it stopped with just inches to spare.
In video footage taken at the scene the woman can be seen to get to her feet while still under the train before crawling underneath the front of the vehicle.
Subway workers then switched off the power and the woman was pulled on to the platform and to safety.
According to the People's Daily Online, citing the Beijing Times, the woman was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
According to the report, her unborn baby was unharmed in the incident but doctors advised her to stay in hospital for further observation.
On Monday, MailOnline reported how a Chinese police officer had escaped disciplinary action after losing control of a van and leaving it suspended three storeys above a street.
The driver of the van, Park He, 35, was heading back to the police station, in Weihai City in Shandong Province, in the east of China, following a police operation at the time of the incident.
He made a left turn after spotting another vehicle was on the wrong side of the road, his supervisors have said.
