CCTV Miraculously Survive : Russian grandmother gets hit by a MINIVAN then run over by MINIBUS

A Russian grandmother miraculously walked away after being hit by a van and then a minibus while holding her grandson's hand at a zebra crossing.

Anfisa Bocharova, 65, was hit first by a van before being struck by a minibus a second later.

But despite crushing the woman the minibus did not stop and did not turn around to check whether Mrs Bocharova was alive.

The pensioner was crossing the road with her five-year-old grandson Benjamin in Ulan-Ude the capital of the Republic of Buryatia, in the south of Russia.

Moments before, the truck had overtaken a bus as it pulled into a bus stop, meaning that the driver was unable to see the zebra crossing or the pair on the road.

The van's driver Sayan Budaev, 37, hit the pensioner and narrowly missed her grandson.

The grandmother was then flung into the air before crashing back onto the road but less than a second later a minibus crushed the woman a second time.

The bus did not stop and did not turn around to check whether the woman was alive - despite the fact that her grandson immediately jumped up and ran after the bus.

The little boy was then picked up by a passerby while dozens crowded around the woman to check she was ok.

Despite the horrific accident, Mrs Bocharova survived after being taken to hospital where she was treated for head and pelvic injuries.

The truck driver has been fined for not stopping at the crossing and will face a criminal trial.
