CCTV deadly Las Vegas casino shooting : Enraged customer guns down 3 men

A horrifying video has emerged of the moment an enraged customer shot three men at a Las Vegas nightclub after being told he had to pay a $30 cover charge.

Benjamin Frazier, 42, killed one man and left a guard and club manager seriously injured after going on a shooting spree at Drai’s After Hours nightclub inside Bally’s on the Strip in October.

A surveillance video shows Frazier arguing with a manager at the club.

He pulls out a .38-caliber revolver and the two men grapple before the manager falls to the ground.

A security guard opens the door, sees the gun and turns to run, but Frazier shoots them both.

He then runs out of the club and onto gaming floor of Bally’s pointing the handgun.

Terrified patrons drop to the ground in a bid to escape, but Kenneth Brown, 40, tries to stop him and rushed to the pair's aid.

He jumps on Frazier's back and tries to wrestle him to the ground, but he is shot.

The weight of his body apprehends Frazier and and allows security time to tackle him.

The footage then shows medical personnel trying to revive Brown, to no avail.
The manager and the security guard, who were shot in the arm and the stomach, both survived the shooting.

The video was presented during a grand jury indictment hearing.

'It’s an incredibly clear video,' District Attorney Steve Wolfson said Wednesday, reports Review Journal.

'It really does describe to the eye exactly what happened,' Mr Wolfson said.

'Unlike eye witness testimony that sometimes can be questioned. It’s hard to question the depiction of what happened in the video. It provides a very clear story of what happened that day.'

Next week, Wolfson and the district attorney’s death penalty committee will review the case and determine whether prosecutors will seek capital punishment for Frazier.

Frazier's attorney, Vicki Greco, has claimed that her client doesn't remember anything that happened after hitting his head.

She told KTNV that they plan to argue whether the gun's fatal shot went off intentionally or because of the scuffle with Brown.

They also plan to investigate whether the casino guards tried to mitigate the fight.

Meanwhile Mr Brown, has been hailed as a hero by Metro police.

While Mr Brown's mother describes her son's death as 'an unbearable pain', she said she has no ill will against the man accused of killing him.

Norma Sattiewhite told News 3: 'I wouldn't wish this on any mother, father, sister, brother, anyone.

'But I have no hate for the man. I have to love no matter what and pray for him - and I do.'

The club, open between Thursday and Sunday from 1am to 9am, has been an after-hours attraction at the heart of the Strip since the late 1990s.

It moved earlier this year from the former Bill's Gamblin Hall, which is undergoing renovations, to Bally's across the street.

Drai's is expected to move back to the renovated and renamed site next year.
