McEverything !! Fast food fan orders ALL 43 burgers on McDonald to create 3ft, 20,000 calorie mega-sandwich

It may be National Cheeseburger Day, but one food fan decided to jump the gun in the pursuit of burger perfection and put together a $140 McEverything of every sandwich on the menu of his local Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, McDonald's last week.

Created by McDonald's aficionado, Nick Chapman, the staggering three-foot tall tower of cheese, meat, sausage, bacon, chicken, egg and fish was held together with a garden bamboo stick and packed over 20,000 calories.

Made from all the lunch and breakfast menu items available, Nick who writes for the Dude Foods blog, said that in creating the McEverything he had ticked off the 'number one thing' to do on his grub bucket list.

Writing on his own blog about his spectacular fast food feat, Nick arrived at the McDonald's restaurant 30 minutes before the end of breakfast to give staff enough time to prepare all the 43 different sandwiches available.

Waiting till all 43 had arrived, Nick stacked them high and skewered them with the bamboo for photographic effect.

'I originally anticipated it only being a couple of feet high, but as you can see from the pictures it ended up MUCH taller than that,' he wrote on Dude Foods.

As he built his burger masterpiece, Nick admitted that the most difficult thing about his McDonald's art burger was not eating it as he piled it high.

'I'm a total sucker for McDonald’s sandwiches, especially their McGriddles,' he added.

Of course, Nick was at pains to point out that even though some may think he wasted $140.33 on the food, plus an extra dollar for Diet Coke, he will eat all the food and none will go to waste.

'The way I see it though is that with all the leftovers I have I've got all my breakfasts, lunches and dinners covered for the next week or so!'

He left the restaurant with the McEverything sort of tucked under his arm.
