CCTV : Drunken Arizona Police Officer Pulls Gun On Fuel Station

The Tucson officer, who was still on probation, is dismissed over the incident which appears to be completely unprovoked.

An Arizona police officer has been fired after pulling a gun on a fuel station attendant while off duty and apparently intoxicated.

The Pima County Sheriff's Department notified Tucson police that 23-year-old Kyle James McCartin was arrested early on Tuesday on two counts of aggravated assault.

Deputies were called to a Giant Gas Station and discovered that two men who seemed to be very drunk had entered the store wearing bulletproof vests.

Authorities said one of the men pulled out a handgun and pointed it at the store assistant.

The second officer appeared to tell McCartin to put the gun away but he again points it at the victim.

Deputies found the men at a nearby apartment complex and the victim identified McCartin as the man with the gun.

Tucson police said McCartin was hired in September and was still on probation.
