A man has been arrested after a South Korean woman became the latest victim of another apparent sex attack in India.
Police in Kolkata arrested a man for allegedly molesting the 23-year-old as she was boarding a bus en route to her college.
This is the third sex attack on a foreign tourist this month and comes just days after India's parliament passed an anti-rape law.
The woman who was assaulted identified the culprit after a group of men travelling on the bus were detained and arrested.
The Deputy Commissioner of Police, D. P. Singh said that the accused would appear before a local court.
"Around 7:30 in the morning, one Korean girl has reported to the police station Burrabazar that while she was travelling from Thakurpukur to Howrah bridge, some boys have molested her.
"Accordingly we took the complaint and identified the culprit, and he has been arrested and has been sent to JC (judicial custody) until the April 2," he added.
If found guilty, the accused could face up to two years in prison, a fine, or both.
Reports of sexual attacks on women in the country have dominated headlines in recent months.
Last week a Swiss tourist was allegedly gang raped while she was camping with her husband in India's central Madhya Pradesh state. Within days of that incident a British woman jumped from the balcony of her hotel room fearing an attack.
