A group of winter sports enthusiasts got kitted up in fancy dress costumes and skied downhill into a pool of cold water, at an event in Georgia.
The "Red Bull Jump and Freeze" competition took place in the Caucasus Mountains and is in its second year.
The contest attracted 24 ski and snowboard teams, wearing costumes ranging from Superman, to Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, to a giant red and yellow-coloured fish.
Participants were required to ski downhill before plunging into a pool of icy-cold water.
Judges, also wearing fancy dress, were on hand to rate the performances and award prizes.
The contest was held at the Gadauri Ski Resort located on the southern slopes of Georgia's Caucasus Mountains more than 2,196 metres above sea level.
