In the battle for Aleppo, these men defend the rebel frontlines. They're snipers with the Syrian opposition.
They've gathered at this apartment block in the southwest of the city, where they've spotted a government fighter in the next building.
Abu Mohammed, sniper for rebel forces saying : "The building in front of you, can you see the window on the blue building with the balcony ? Aim just behind it at the guy holding the PKC and fire. See, he's firing. Be careful, guys."
Abu Mohammed is a rebel sniper. He says rebels hold most of the city but complains they are outgunned by government forces.
He saying: "We wish we had better weapons so we could liberate the country from this tyrannical group that has corrupted the country and destroyed it. We are currently trying to liberate this road and that's the post office. Here is where civilians used to live who will return with God's help."
Suddenly one of the snipers sends the alarm that government forces are on their way. The men run for cover. The fighting in Syria has claimed 70,000 lives. Both sides are accused of summary executions in a civil war that, this week, ends its second year.
