Bear Revenge in Russia: 3 men Arrested after trying 'abuse' a Bear but it Escaped & Tried to Kill them

Three men have been arrested after planning a sex attack on a bear which had been reversed over eight times before it fought back.

The men were held on animal cruelty charges by Russian police after a video filmed by a female friend was posted online.

It showed the group knocking down the animal before repeatedly ramming it with a Pajero SUV as it paws were caught under the wheel.

One of the men can be seen kicking the bear and jumping on its back as it desperately tries to free itself.

The recording also picked up on the men discussing plans to sexually assault it with a stick and knife it to death.

One of the attackers boasted at how he had run over the animal eight times, leaving it trapped and with blood pouring from its mouth.

Eventually the animal managed to free itself before destroying the vehicle's tyre with its teeth and claws.

It then turned towards the three men and woman, who had managed to get into another vehicle and lock the doors, where they watched the injured animal.

The group fled the scene as the animal took a final lunge towards the car while the woman can be heard screaming that the bear 'could kill them all' as they drive off.

Police tracked down the suspects after being alerted by local nature conservancy officials and detained the three men on the Russian island of Iturup, which is claimed by Japan as its territory.

'These people are sick and deranged to treat an animal like this, but they could easily have been killed by goading the bear with their vicious cruelty,' said a police source.

'Police launched a criminal case of "cruelty to animals" and they will be investigated over whether the attack involved "hooliganism" or "sadistic methods",' reported The Siberian Times.

They face a jail term of up to six months, 'corrective labour' or a fine.
