A Chinese woman who appeared to be using her phone while crossing the road was tragically killed after being crushed under a lorry.
The young woman, named only as Ms Mo, was hit by a lorry outside a department store in Guangdong province last week.
Harrowing footage of the accident has now been released as police warn pedestrians about the danger of using mobile phones when crossing roads, reported People's Daily Online.
The video shows the horrific moment the woman was knocked down in the middle of a road by a white lorry, before being crushed under the wheels of a yellow truck coming from the other direction.
The woman, who was from Guanxi province in southern China, was pronounced dead on the scene.
The accident took place on Wednesday afternoon outside a department store in Guiping City.
